“Business capital” The exhibition companies have ceased to shun the summer months [Ekaterina Venzhik] It seems that the concept of precisely designated exhibition season as which the autumn and spring were considered, slowly, but truly leaves in the past. All present summer, and June in particular, appeared so sated with exhibition actions, that the place was found even for competitive struggle. <…> The company “Ukrainian podium” was not afraid to carry out the exhibition “Fabrics. Threads. Accessories” in June, being the most significant event for light industry. Its director Alla Putintseva says, that the given action will be smaller than in February and will collect little bit more than 60 participants (against more than 100 in February) as the small companies have not sustained financial charge of three actions in one year. But particular this time can attract more foreign participants who during a spring season are involved in world exhibitions. Besides, Ukrainian exhibitors start to change their methods, leaving the practice of work “season during a season”, when the materials exposed at the exhibition are to be finally sold out in two weeks after the event. And the summer, in opinion of Mrs. Putintseva, gives a reserve of time to sew the chosen by the customers collection for the autumn. Experts explain a choice of time of carrying out the exhibition also by the reason that during the spring factories had time to earn money and now are the favourable visitors having the potential to conclude contracts.<…>
